Hi Good People,

Been busy over the last couple of days and created 5 more Vega repaints for the Ford Project

IBERIA - Compania Anonima de Aereas - EC-BAA
Swedish Air Lines - A.B. Aerotransport - S-AZAA
Aer Lingus - (1931-37) - EI-ABI
Societa Aerea Mediterranea (S.A.M.) - Italy - I-ONIO
SCADTA (Columbia) - special tribute - (Flying services since 1919) C-44, named 'Medellin' (1931). Base of OPS: Bogota, Columbia

Below is a picture of just one of the new liveries for your info.

These 5 are now available on the Ford Project Vega 5 web pages - you will find them alphabetically throughout the three Vega Livery Pages now available.

Regards and happy simming to all

Each and every Vega livery you've uploaded are true masterpieces, Garry. But those Standard Oil Eagle liveries....MAN....absolute jaw-droppers!!

Thank you-thank you!!

Thanks Mate

Thanks Magoo,

Plenty of practice on the Vega repaints has help :icon_lol:

The Standard Eagle girls were sheduled for repaint a while ago by Ed but I procastinated for quiet some time before I took on the complexities of the repaint with the known mapping problems with the Vega. Normally a Vega repaint takes around 2 hours but the first Standard Eagle repaint was well over a couple of days of intense artwork tinkering until I got as close as possible to matching the limited black and white references.
My personal favourite is the LAMSA girl -:wiggle:

Regards and I am happy that some of these repaints are being enjoyed by simmers out there.

Garry, I am incorporating everything on your site into my new install. Very nice stuff. But I must be having a senior moment because, although I have looked carefully, I cannot find the Vega section. Can you (or someone) please provide a link directly to it?

Hi

just to report

The download link on the Aer Lingus is wrong-->points you to the same air express one below

Another dumb question. The downloaded zips have the texture folder but there's no txt file with the info to copy/paste into the cfg and I can't find any on the site. Does anybody have a clue on where I can get it?

You need to make your own from the default cfg. copy and paste the entire fltsim section as many times as necessary for new textures, then just change the title and texture and ui variation sections. Also ATC ID if desired. also be sure to change the fltsim.X number. I use the titles Garry gives to the textures as the folder name, then give same to the three changed sections.
