I seem to remember that you can't animate building models and that the stock flag animation is coded. Is that correct?

I want to get that windsock moving but can't!. :help:

Can't you make it a vehicle that moves to slow to detect and then set the brakes on it? I thought thats what someone did when they made those torches that line the runway. Not completely sure about that however.

I think you are correct, I'm not sure how us "end-users" can make animated scenery like the MS stock models. I thought they were handled vie keyframe animations, similar to those of the character models, though I'm not sure exactly how.

I've animated the windsock, it works fine in Gmax, nothing in-game though :(. In the M3d viewer the stock flag shows the animation via a slider that appears in the drop down menu, no idea what that means but I'll persevere for a while. Would be nice to have turning radar, windmills etc.

Perhaps, as Lewis says, a work-around utilising a 'vehicle' may provide an answer.
