Flashing clouds

So, if im setting cloud draw distance more than 30 miles cloud begin to flash at distance, is there any way to prevent this?

I've found that if I set the cloud distance further than the visibility distance there won't be flickering. Problem is in fs9 the closest vis is 60 mi so cloud distance would be 70 and this could cause a fps hit. So a few years ago I bought fsuipc where you can set any distance you want. 30-40 miles is really fine, it will help fps and solve your cloud flickering. Plus there are many other benefits to fsuipc.

Everything puts its load share on the computer. When I did my modest upgrade a while ago i noticed the clouds drew almost to the horizon, something that never used to happen. I always had this disc of whatever clouds there were which was really yuckky. Feeling the urge I thought I'd try a better set of sky textures too. Well now the sky looks much better but the cloud distance has suffered again, flickering at the rim which is now closer again. Everything demands its due so it becomes what compromise you can live with. Or lots of $$$.

I dont know what i exactly did, but i was playing with fsuipc visibility settings, then turned weather settings off and voila no more flashing clouds and clouds till horizon!
