Flight 19 has been trundling across the USA, testing a variety of fighters. Not so much RTWR fodder, but just for fun.

Started in Walla Walla, WA the other day and made it to Moorcroft, WY this evening. Near the Devils Tower.

Aircraft used so far: BF-109E/F, Koolhoven FK.58, CAC Boomerang and a Spitfire XII.

I've been wanting to ask someone this for a long time now. . .what screenshot program do you use that gives you the info as it's shown in your shots?

Nice shots by the way!!:salute:

It's Snapper. Should kick up with Google.

Our stop the first night was Salmon, Idaho for "fish n taters"...

A Wyoming farmer called the police to report sighting not a spaceship but instead a Koohoven FK58, a CAC Boomerang, and a Spitfire XII. The Deputy shook his head in disbelief. "Never seen a Spitfire in these parts."

Switched to a USAAF Spitfire VII.

We headed NE to Mt Rushmore (I never did spot it on the ground). Chased an Arado 234 around for a bit, but could only catch him if his engines were idling and I was in a dive.

The things that appear in the western skies....

We decided to head back west towards the mountains. This time taking advantage of some of the Luftwaffe's inventory along with a Yak.

Scenic flight down (or should I say up at 7500') to Aspen, CO in a trio of Focke Wulf 190's.

Great flight to Aspen, but I'm getting an itch so after we parked, I headed over to the local swap n shop for a light twin...

More shots of the Luftwaffe over the Rockies. Note Willy greasing his landing as Moses & MM admire the view.

We left Aspen for somewhere in the mountains of southern Utah. Nice flight over some very rough country.

We crossed the border into Utah over very rugged country. Interesting flight in these Focke Wulf fighters-and one rogue Bf-110.

Willy's tail gunner was drunk....or asleep, or both!

We left Aspen and climbed through the granite-filled clouds, catching only glimpses of the mountains below. Eventually the visibility improved to reveal the rugged country of Utah's canyonlands and then Bryce Canyon. Here is a shot of the area around Robbers Roost which Taco points out was a long-time hideout of Butch Cassidy, the Sundance Kid, and the Wild Bunch gang.

(BTW, it just struck me how much we all have upgraded fS9. The aircraft is by A2A Simulations with a Martin Catney repaint. The rugged terrain is portrayed by FSGenesis's 19m mesh, the ground textures by Ground Environment Pro, and the sky and clouds by REX. Lots of other terrific addons as well. Our continuing thanks to all who have contributed so much to our hobby...)

Here are a few snaps of last nights flight. It was noted that there was some strange words coming from me on take off. %$#^%^#@! Hehe
