Flight Controllers

When I set up the joystick, yoke, throttle quadrent in FSX they do not hold once I turn off the flightsim. For everytime that I start up the flight sim I have to rest what ever I am using at the time. In FS9 it kept everything in the FS9 cfg. But I do not know in FSX where it is kept, or why it will not save so will not have to reset each time.

What OS are you using? I believe there's an XML file that holds the control settings, but most likely the problem is that you aren't running FSX under an administrator profile and it isn't able to write the control settings to the file, thus they aren't saved.

When I install Windows XP I set it up with me as the administrator. So by you I am out of luck. Thanks for the reply though. I really do appreciate ti much.
