• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

I have not really opened FS2024 since launch (too many bugs to use it for flying so far) but I did get all of my native conversions working in 2024 just fine with basically no adjustments. Assuming they haven't broken more things since, there is no reason these won't work in FS2024 also. They will also work fine in VR, although they don't really have anything clickable in the cockpit so you'll mostly need to rely on keybinds. If I get time this winter I will see about adding some basic click spots to them.

Just tried the F4, works well.
Just one problem in VR, some of the text is sometimes very low resolution and sometimes OK, eg the pilots radar/gunsight panel.
The Anson has a similar problem...must be something to do with imports in FS24?

You mean VR in FS2024? That I haven't tried. Interesting note, I will give it a try at some point and see if there's an obvious fix.
 
Yes, it's fine in FS20 VR, as is the Anson.
For the F4 everything is fine for a few seconds then the gunsight/radar panel text and the Weapons stations panel text both blur.
Exiting VR and re-entering they are OK again then blur after a few seconds.
Not sure if it's a LOD or depth-of-field issue, there is a lot of text on the same F4S_4_C sheet that don't blur but these panels are offset from the main panel...
On entering VR the tool-handle-bar is displayed again and clicking on that might precipitate the blurring, or maybe coincidence.

For the Anson the placard text on the main panel blurs, e.g 'Speed not to exceed...'.

This is with a Q3 using OpenXR and virtual desktop.

Apologies for hijacking the thread...reinstalled the Halifax in P3D - a beauty, still hoping for that one but the DC4 and Lib will be greatly appreciated :)
 
She works just fine in FS2024. I see some things that can be improved eventually but not too bad

I'd be happy to work on other FR projects that get the green light but we'll see on those

Yay! I wonder if the warnings were because it's not 2024 SDK. 2020 SDK working in FS2024 is absolutely fine! I do not want to do walkarounds of my B-24 or DC-4. :)

Super excited for these!
