Flight Replicas DH85 Leopard Moth

Thanks for the replies DennyA and Twice43. Sorry, I may not have explained myself clearly (a problem with getting old). I meant that if I purchased for 2024,
would the plane then show up for free in 2020. And the answer is, yes!.

I purchased for 2024, and then the next day when I looked in my 2020 Content Manager under "Not installed", there was the Leopard Moth. I assume the
same would be true if I had purchased for 2020, the plane would also show up in my 2024 Library waiting to be enabled. So thank you Flight Replicas!

Of course I do most of my flying now in 2024, and may one day delete 2020 entirely, but it's always nice to have options.

It was a good question because you can’t always assume buying one will have it available in both. With the moth minor, Microsoft didn’t get around to doing the posting for the FS 2024 download of the 2020 version for some period of time after it was released. This time, they released them simultaneously, so hopefully MS is getting its act together in the marketplace a little better.

If it’s a 2020 plane and you buy it in 2024, it’s pretty much guaranteed to be available in 2020 as well. But the reverse is not always true because Microsoft has to do some kind of conversion process on the 2024 release even if it’s not a 2024 native plane.

Yes, thanks DennyA, I hadn't thought of that. It makes perfect sense. Of course, I don't always trust MS/Asobo to be perfectly sensible...

Thanks again.
