Flight1's new P51D

I like buttons, and switches..... goly gee wilfred that there is some fancy sum machine! ya know one thing I never see modeled in are the piss stains from when I pilot scares himself......

That and that emergency bottle for those "long trips" with too much coffee at the club house.

Well there is a relief tube modeled in but there's nothing in the Microsoft SDK to cover the animation...:engel016:

Verrrrrrrry nice Bazz.

Nice to see you back on deck.

All we need now is an update for the Connie.

Cheers

Fantastic work Baz! Of course we have been getting quality work from the AH crew for a long time!

Glad to see ya posting!

We have been very fortunate in Flight 1 having an association with Maurice Hammond, owner of Marinell and Janie. His business builds engines for most of the top operators of P51Ds and is very well respected in the Warbird community.

So, we have had direct access not only to the aeroplanes but also Maurice's considerable knowlege of the type and the mechanical processes.

Everything in that cockpit works as it should and the engine management and performance will be guaranteed to be on the numbers. otherwise, Maurice isn't going to OK it!:engel016:

Well, all I can say is A2A have got some REAL competition!!! Fantastic work by all concerned!!:icon_lol:

Can I make one tiny plea though? Dump the bumps!!:pop4:

Very nice, but do we really need another P51?
I shall take shelter now ---- INCOMING!

Yes, though the real question should be- "do we really need another P-51D?"

I'd do anything for someone to release something that ISN'T a D.

Bazz, the best thing from this thread is to hear from you again. You have been avoiding us for too long!

The Mustang look stunning, especially the VC is gorgeous! And I already love the pilot ;)

Cheers,
Huub

Awesome, excellent stuff Bazz, can't believe I'm seeing another aircraft with a nicely done prop, this will be a winner for sure and now that it has a proper pilot, it will get a photoreal treatment. :applause::applause::applause:
