FlightSim Developers upcoming new release - Name That Plane

Don't let me die stupid, I don't get at least two clues

- Has a prominent control surface feature

- May be obtained by digging in the right place

 :icon_lol:

technically fsd doesnt make then, milvis does, which (unless they've changed their ways) sell the models onto anybody who wants em.

Actually, FSD does make their own planes though we have done several with them. Milviz has a Z not an S and yep, we're proud to be the makers of some of the best aircraft models out there today.

It’s still worth 10% off the purchase price to guess what the next release is and submit an answer, the 310 is not the answer , nor is it the next release, its number two of the next three releases and the only one produced by MilViz, , the next release is entirely an FSD production and getting back to the roots of what they do best , General Aviation designed for use on most every computer and features stellar framerates, the ability to use a shared cockpit, as well as a completely functional VC it has two 2D panels for the SimPit builders , a full panel and a landing view , all with type specific gauges and was made to accommodate the use of RXP gauges for those who wish to use them.
Another feature thats sure to be appreciated is the price , designed to be affordable , framerate friendly & FUN ! .<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:p> </o:p>

It's going to be hard to beat the Dreamfleet version even now. I absolutely loved that one - that was probably the one addon that changed simming forever for me in terms of taking it seriously but (and no offense) I wish it were Dreamfleet or RealAir who were doing one for FSX.

edit - ah, but I see we are all on the wrong track anyway :icon_lol:

Yes and you did a very fine job of it!!! Excellent aircraft for flight simulation

Did you know that it was I who did the Dreamfleet Dakota for FSX ?

Now that you mention it yes, I think I did know that. I've never owned that one. But you aren't doing the C310 for FSD by the sounds of it, Milviz is. I don't know who they are.

Colin of MilViz fame was asked to produce the model for FSD , the previous pair of FSD releases were also done<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:p></o:p>
with MilViz models and we (Colin & Myself) have cooperated on other projects together as well , it’s a small world and most who work in it know everybody and have worked with many of them on one project or another.<o:p></o:p>

The hints said it was commonly seen on TV in the 1950s. Not going to tell you if it is just the name of the plane or the whole plane itself. That would not be sporty.

Whoops, conflicting info at my end. The shows did start in the fifties. (At least the one I was thinking about, don't know if it is the correct answer of course..)

Ah well, if it isnt the songbird, i dont want it. guess i'm just really picky in my old age..

Just an addendum. There was a tv show broadcast by the BBC in 1950 that earned the place of being the first television show broadcast from an airplane ever. unfortunately, it is still restricted from being viewed in america..

hasnt in a while now though.

http://www.milviz.com/ be warned though, they might try to sue you! :kilroy:

Is that a joke? If so, it's not even the slightest bit amusing. I remind you that this smacks of libel and that, my dear "not friend", is actionable. So you could be next on the list. So, I would be very careful what you I say, Stiz.

(I can make jokes too... see?)

It is going to be something with a 'V' tail.

Yes, designed in 1947, there was a TV series that started in 1959, and several albums have used the name, and you can dig in sand by the seashore... There's nothing special about the 310's tail, pretty though it is.

right. Bonanza.. kinda not too fair using a westerns name and making us all think it was the plane that was used commonly in the TV series..

Please let the next Aircraft's be

Piper Navajo
Cessna 337
Aerostar 700
Pilatus PC-6 Porter
Piper Cheyenne

Now that'll keep ya busy... LOL

I loved everyone of those I mentioned and they put FSD as a leader in Flight sim
