• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

This U-Tube is pretty cool. I spent some time in this area during the 20 years I lived in California. Not in planes, but in 4WD vehicles (and a VW Bus...) IMO this is spectacularly beautiful country and I very much enjoyed this video. Be sure to check out the rest of this guy's videos. Very good stuff.

backcountrypilot is very good,i go to bed at night watching yuotube videos, mostly for flying in idaho and utah.some really great videos.i have about 50 flight plans laid out for doing this with the right plane, and ive found it..the milviz dhc2 stol..in p3dv4,,a friend owns property at Warren Id,from about midway of the runway and to the north, all gold mining operations .they havent pulled anything out,but he has hualed all of his packards and parts cars to mcCall,,which is home base for he and his partner, then they summer in warren.

Eds partners grandfather ran a dredge in warren for years, got shut down in early 40s,43 i think he said, but the dredge is still there..rotten and falling apart, but there.
