Flood in St Stephen, NB- Canada

Cloud9Gal

~Fury of the Winds~
St. Stephen is a little village in New-Brunswick Canada (province where I'm from), that borders Maine.
St. Stephen is also known for Ganong chocolates and candies. (very popular back home)

Recently, that whole area has been hit hard with rain and flooding. Here are a few pictures that were sent to me by my friend, who lives in Maine.

I feel sorry for the St Stephen habitants. Total disaster!

Yes, I've been in touch with my cousins up there in Fredericton and Woodstock area and they've been sending my these pictures and others of the flooding going on. Something like over 8 in. of rain in an 8 hour span. Way too much water....:icon_eek:

I saw this on the news last night and was wondering how close to the homestead this might be.
Hope Mom and all are okay up that away!

Thanks for sharing C9G!

I'll pray for your family and friends.
