Florida House Fly

That's just a baby house fly in eastern Kentucky, wait till it grows up..
Hopefully, it's big brother isn't around too.. :icon_eek:

Here on Sanibel, FL, the mosquitoes are a real problem. Flies, not so much.

I just spent about 20 minutes, cutting down some weeds outside my sister's house. I now know what it is like to be a human "smorgasbord". In that short period of time, I think the mosquitoes bit me about 20 times.

I'm in the process of having a small apartment built onto my sis's place. It should be done in about two weeks. THEN I hope to get my sim setup again, and be back in business! The move here from TN was not difficult; and I am SO happy to be living here! It will be nice to have my apartment finished so I can move my things into it, and call it HOME.

All is well. See you in the virtual skies soon!

Look at that! a picture of a newly-hatched Manitoba mosquito still with it's "baby fat" . :icon_lol::kilroy:

Must have been someone from "Winterpeg" down there in Florida and they had a hitchiker... I have seen those Manitoba bugs and they can get purddy big, I have been told it only takes a couple to carry off a small steer...
