Flyin' Fortress Liberty Belle

:applause: I've been lucky enough to have taken a flight aboard the "Fuddy Duddy", well worth the $ to do it. These aircraft look so much better in the air than on the ground. A big Thank You, to all that keep'em flying.
Thank you, Mr Shupe, I enjoy flying all your aircraft.

Unfortunately I do not think Liberty Belle will be making any stops near me this year.... So it looks like I will go this year without a ride...... But if she comes to a city near you, I, like most if not all others, strongly, STRONGLY, suggest you consider taking a ride.... if nothing else, take a tour of the plane or just go out to see her....

I also have some news about becoming more involved with the Liberty Belle group coming soon.....fingers crossed....

If the Liberty Belle is not scheduled to come to you area the Collings Foundation has its B-17 on the nationwide Wings of Freedom tour. http://www.collingsfoundation.org/cf_schedule-wof.htm

Regardless of whose B17 or historical aircraft you are able to see at I would strongly suggest at least take a tour through the planes or consider taking a ride - either way you can't go wrong. Anyways I found this Liberty Belle related essay at SimHQ - http://www.simhq.com/_air5/air_175a.html

Yep, like B-24 said Witt.... catch "909" when the Collings Foundation stops near you. Heck, you'll also get to see the TP-51 "Betty Jane" and "Witchcraft". Maybe a ride in her will trip yer trigger too. ;) Tell Paul you know me and maybe he'll get you in a but cheaper. I can't promise but it's a worth a try. And mentioning you also help on the restoration of a B-17 won't hurt either. ;)

Be on the lookout.... White 1, their ME 262, is suposed to go on tour this year with them. Not sure how true it is but that's what the latest CF newsletter said.

Now Gary that is something that I might go out of my way to see.... Never was a huge fan of the B-24 myself, I was in 909 when I was a kid, don't know if I have the stomach or $$ for the P-51 & 262 rides, and there is a B-25 in Urbana now.... I'll have to check the Collings Foundation schedule... Rumor has it Yankee Lady might make an appearance at the Mid Eastern Regional fly in this fall....
