For those of you flying my Pietenpol (and anyone else interested), here is a clip from a flight in the real one this morning...

Beautiful.

Spent a lot of time around Gillespie Airport.

About 4-5 miles straight over the left cylinder cooling duct is where I grew up! (Rancho Fanita Dr.)

My how the scenery has changed just since I was last there about 3 years ago!

Still love the PETE for FSX! Maybe one day I will get to San Diego Robert...I love to ride in that baby!

That was a fun takeoff to watch! I remember loving Bill Lyons' old Pietenpol in FS9 (or was it FS8?).

Disc brakes on a Pietenpol? Cool! Very nice video. Thanks for sharing. I love Bill Lyon's Pietenpol for FS9. I don't/can't run FSX so have not been able to check yours out. Maybe in 10 years when I have a system that will run FSX really well I will be able to take it up for a flight and some serious crashes.

Looks like you had a great day for a flight. Bugs in the teeth and all..lol.
...I really like your model you did for the flightsim. Thanks for sharing that with us :)
