Flying Tanks - A World War II Idea.

The armoured car is actually a Marmon-Herrington Mark IV from the 1940s. One of my buddies is very into tanks so I slapped on some German markings in order to provoke some uproar :icon_lol:

The Saladin would be a nice modelling project.

If I could track down some 3-view drawings of the Antonov glider I might even have a go at the Russian tank/glider combination - with as realistic as possible flight dynamics.

is that flight dynamics pre flak-hit, or post flak-hit :icon_lol: sounds a good plan, i'll get digging in my books see what i can find.... just don't strap them wings to a King Tiger or a hetzer or you'll fly like a lead brick, let alone balloon....
 
It seems to have aquired a few extra wheels !! I was very into tanks and armoured cars for 22 years in the employ of Her Majesty
