FNS Clemenceau

aicarriers just doesn't work at all for me, I've tried everything to get it going too, so don't be disheartened if it doesn't work for you too!!:ernae:
 
Curious, what exactly is happening with AIcarriers for you Peter? I haven't had any issues with it other than me screwing up the program by misplacing some things in it. It works like a charm foe me and other than having to make a few of my ships static for multiplayer, I do a lot of single player AIcarrier work.
 
well I don't quite know myself, I installed the program mate sure the .exe file was right but it just never showed under my addon menu, I tried and tried, followed peoples help and it just never worked for me, so I just gave up in the end mate!
 
I had the same problem ai carriers not appearing in my add on menu!, it was a error in the hosts file in windows/system32/ I can't post the link cos I haven't done 5 posts! however if you search the FSX Simconnect Forum at Avsim (its down in the list!) there are full instructions, or pm me here.

Thanks to Amedee it is now up and running. :ernae:

I'm having the same problem with David's activity around Marseilles. I had a similar issue with the activities for the Nimitz, and this turned out to be caused by the setting for boat traffic slide (it needs to be >= 40). Unfortunately this isn't the problem here. I've tried increasing the boat traffic to 100, and still no Clemenceau underneath my Hornet. The Clemenceau does appear sailing off Brest as defined in the traffic file accompanying the Clemenceau V2 zip, so it must be installed correctly. So this must point to the activity as being the problem.
 
I used a traffic file from the original clemenceau renaming the clemenceau file located in the boats folder to the name of the old one and it worked fine, now I have it in the same places the old one used to be only at the better quality of the new one!!
 
I've discovered the problem that I have with David's CarrierTracksVol 2. It seems that there's some sort of conflict with FranceVFR Riviera Jetset scenery which I have installed. If this scenery is active, then my hornet is floating in air when I start David's saved activity (Carrier Marseilles), but if I deactivate the Riviera Jetset scenery, lo and behold, the Clemenceau appears under my hornet. I don't know if anybody else experiencing similar problems has thsi scenery installed as well.
