A SAAB 35 Draken release candidate for FSX has just been made available for download over at http://flightsim.bookmark.se/ (you have to be a registered member to download it)
I took it for a short test flight around Edwards and it flies very nice once you get it to run.
Thank you Thomas for this treat. :salute:

Thanks for the HU and a big thank you to Thomas Nilsson - good to be able to fly this in FSX without the beta test banner now :salute:

Does the model finally feature a stick in the cockpit?

I know it's kind of obstructive when needing access to the instruments and switches behind it (actually that's what visibility toggles were invented for), but the cockpit just feels incomplete without it.

Excellent VC, no stick (which I do not miss at all)

a document help file fs9 is very, very useful

I suggest a download of the documents, all as a help file, indicated for FS 2004 but all seems to apply to the FSX version of the aircraft, also. Less than 6MB as a zip.

As a delta wing be careful on landings, that help file is a great text to read, simple, clear.

I'd love to give her a try but does anyone know how long it takes to get the activation email? I registered yesterday and no email yet. Funny though, on the home page it said I was the newest member:icon_lol:.

Sure did... I was so lucky to be at Angelholm in '95 when they did a 20+ Draken mass launch:wiggle: We were also allowed on the flightline after they returned:

I saw a couple (as well as some Viggen's)at a local airshow several years ago. There was one Draken in static display with another flying a display routine. The noise was immense with just one flying...can't imagine what 20 of them flying together would have sounded like!!!:icon_lol:

The mail was in my inbox almost directly after I clicked the submit button; perhaps it is in your junk mail folder?

Having the same problem and it was not in the spam folder as I always check there after hearing all the problems with that for the Warbirdsim Mustangs (tho it did not happen to me)
