For all the Connie and Dc-3 fans from Brietling

That one shot of her with the grear down, doing a flyby, and headed for the back lit clouds-Outstanding!

I am proud to say I flew on one as a small boy from Cincinnati,OH to Baltimore, MD
Still remember the lunch they served-Chicken salad sandwiches...

Thanks for the post!

Rick

Thanks for sharing this! I always admire the beautiful looks of the Connie.
Back in 1970, being 4 years old, I flew from Madrid to Stuttgart in a DC-3.
Long time ago, but I still remember that.

Cheers,
Mark

The Connie's just about the most elegant looking aircraft to ever lift off from the ground. Even the huge radomes and wingtip tanks on the military versions can't spoil its beauty. Has anybody done the Breitling paint jobs for the Connie and DC-3?

The only thing that spoils a Conny is to put a layer of music above the engine sound :isadizzy:. Sorry, could not resist.
Otherwise a great video.

Cheers,
Mark

I agree about the music, engines would have been much preferred. Have over 2000 hours on connies and would not have changed it for any other aircraft.

Connie is such a beautiful and elegant design aircraft. Would loved to hear more of the engines than music, but overall nice video.

What a great video of a historic and graceful-looking aircraft! Thanks for posting. :medals:

I was told by a Fine Arts Major that aircraft, motorcycles, and cars were not really "art", since "art" had to be only for itself, and serve no useful function.

I stuffed his head into a pillow case....

It was my little brother....you get to do things like that to your little brother...no matter how old you are.

Very nice video...thanks for sharing!
Music was very nice, however, I prefer radial music when possible. :salute:

Beautiful video. Connie is the most beautiful multi, period. Didn't care for the music. I go to airshows to hear the most beautiful music in the world, the aircraft.

Connie
