For Dumenceau...... a Belgian Havard 4K

As I mentioned earlier I had a Belgian Havard 4K in mind for Wozza's beautiful T-6 model. Although the model is not fully correct it depicts the AT-6 flown by Colonel Nossin from the Avanced Pilot School in Kamina (Belgian Kongo) in the early 60-ties.

Its just a start (so you have to be patient). Most of the drawing work has been done, now I need to adjust the spec maps and alpha layers.

Working on this repaint gave me inspiration for at least two other T-6 repaints.

Cheers,
Huub

And I wonder what the inspiration for the other repaints will be!!

Ha ha :biggrin-new:, I might do an other Belgian one, most probably the standard scheme as shown on the aircraft in the Brussels museum. But the repaint which I have in mind are not Belgian.

Some shots to show progress. Most of what you see has been created by John "Bomber_12th" Terrell as I have used his excellent paintkit for this repaint.

Cheers,
Huub

That is looking very very nicely Huub! And if you would do the standard schem, that would be even more awesome!

Looking forward to all of your repaint idea's!!

The Belgian liveries are finished

This repaint depicts the aircraft flown by Colonel Nossin, commander of the Advance Pilot School from the Belgian Air Force Kamina, Belgian Kongo in 1958-1959. Colonel Nossin was he leader of a three man demonstration team, which flew the Harvard 4KA. The other two pilots from this demonstration team were Adj. Thome and Adj. Van Daele.

For those who have visited the Royal Army Museum in Brussels, this might be a familiar aircraft. The paint is indeed very dull on this aircraft ;-)

Again based on John "Bomber_12th" Terrell's incredible paintkit.

There is bad weather expected in the Netherlands this weekend so I hope to upload them in a few days.

Cheers,
Huu

As you could already understand from Johan's reaction, both repaints are available in the library.

The real aircraft

and the repaint

And again the real thing

and the repaint

get the before they get cold!

Huub
