Merry Christmas, early! ; )

I thought of anyone out there that could love this photo as much as I do, it would be you. First take a look at the photo (it's huge!):

Then you can read some about it here:

Not really a good repaint resource, but quite fascinating none-the-less, and I thought you would like it.

aaaah John, you can read my mind...
I'm back home, finishing my first paint, and next in line was the 20th FG. Let's see if I can make some nice paints for your baby...

meanwhile, here's "Martin's Gloria":

I had forgotten I had posted this thread last night... : )

As I mentioned in the "Little Friends II" thread, I am really liking the look of these new repaints, Jan Kees!

I couldn't resist doing more from the 20th FG, especially with a name like this:

and yes, I have started on some pianokeys as well, but this is still very early wip, this one has a long way to go yet (and no time of course)...

Excellent work! Besides those that were obviously devoid of a dorsal fin fillet early on, at least eventually, there seems to have been a numer of P-51D-5-NA's in the 20th FG with dorsal fin fillets fitted as well (though to the un-trained eye, they may sometimes appear like a later D-model because of the fillet). Just something to look for, though I'm sure you already knew. ; )

John, why do you think I cut off the tail in that last shot?

Rob, I've done quite afew 20th FG paints for the old A2A mustang, the new one isn't out yet, patience...
