For Kelti and Morton...and anyone else who is interested...

Thanks to Japlance, we're made a lot of progress. The only problem thus far is that guntubes cannot be placed so that they allow for waist gunners to shoot out the sides of the aircraft.

That would be easy enough to fix :engel016: !

The airfile is much better, at least I can get her off the ground. I also like the fact that you need a lot of rudder to bring the ol' girl around!

The .dp has been made brand new with DPed and ACM, despite that I used the old one by Pierino Primavesi for his CFS2 Ju 52 as starting point. For the airfile I did the same, using Airwrench and data around the net.

Those gun tubes would be very welcome for the waist gunners, Oldwheat. They would probably be the last thing added to the .dp, as the maximum number of hardpoints allowed would be almost reached (23 out of 24). Unless I did a .dp for the Passenger version and a different one for a Fallschirmjäger/Cargo version (if we ever get some new parachutists that fit inside the plane).

Excellent, oldwheat.

They've been put to good use in the Ju 52 .dp. I just sent the modified file to Rami.

I have some layered masters in psp format for the Ju-52 Version 6.0B, I also have a few schemes too finish up on the junkers, I mainly use fs9 but can make the skins work in cfs2 if required. If anyone wants copies of my layered masters just drop me a pm and i'll send em over.

Steve,

It would be great if you wouldn't mind making all your skins CFS2 compatible as well ... thank you muchly,

Ro

SteveB,

We're collecting paints for version 6.1B, the multi-lod model. So unfortunately, the 6.0B skins are incompatible. I still love your work, though. I use a lot of your Storch skins, for one thing. :jump:

Rohan,

Many of his skins are already compatible if you use Martin Wright's DXTbmp utility.

Basicly, Mr Primavesi did a few versions of his Ju 52. The 6 series are for FS2004, some of them are civilian, some are military, there are small changes in the textures between them.

But 6.1 JU-AIR, although a civilian version, is Multi-LOD, and also wings and tail do break-up. That makes it specially well suited for CFS2. Textures specifically made for this model are named (I mean the exterior look of the plane) different from the rest of versions, but seem to be almost fully interchangeable with 5.0 and 6.*.

This is the Ju52 6.1 JUAIR model with a skin from the 5.0 version renamed:

Yes, courtesy of Japlance. If you'd meet me on Skype, I can send you the updated package, airfile included.
