Kelticheart,

I haven't had much stamina to work on CFS2 lately, though there's nothing wrong that's preventing me from doing so...the mission muse is not with me right now. However, I have been working on some new layouts that you can take a stab at modifying them if you want some new toys.

I sent these to sc7500 as well, but for right now they are a Focke-Wulf aircraft factory (Basically...your Hawker mod, turned on its side with more trees and a couple of hidden "flak" guns added...)

A new layout for Amiens prison in France shrouded with trees and a couple of hidden flak positions...

A new layout for a Norwegian temporary government command post...

A radio and communication station positioned deep in the woods...

A Radar station, also buried deep in the woods.

If you want to have at them and offer some feedback, feel free. I like your work and attention to detail. :salute:

How's the weather there in the Po Valley? It's sunny here with high clouds and about fourteen degrees. (fifty-seven degrees Fahrenheit)

Hi Rami! :wavey:

Sorry for the late reply, but I somehow missed this thread. Sure, I'll take a look at these and let you know, now that I finally fixed Jean's splendid Morocco scenery and that stupid issue with the joystick when you were here.

As I suspected, it depended on the fact that I reinstalled CFS2 after a much needed reformat of my HDD and copied over a backup copy. Now I know that joystick calibration and assignments data, included in the CFS2.cfg file, coming from a backup copy, isn't good for a new re-install. The throttle was not working because the joystick slider null zone was set to the max while it should have been just the opposite!

Two days after you left the Po valley got shrouded in thick fog, coupled with subfreezing temperatures and we kept it as such up until this last Monday. Everything was covered by ice and looked as if snow had fallen!
Yesterday and the day before we had a respite, which looked like the days you were here, last night temperatures dropped again and clouds started moving in, according to the late reports a snowfall is expected by late Saturday or Sunday.

I sure am lookin forward to a nice weekend spent shoveling snow to clear my front yard and the access to the main road........

Cheers!
KH :ernae:
