For lovers of the Meyers 200D...

I recently downloaded this remarkable little aircraft, and have truly fallen in love with it. I've been poking around looking for info about it and found this... a .pdf of an original owner's manual! (well, if you're gonna own the plane) Here's a link: http://www.meyersaircraft.com/200D Section/200D Owner's Manual/200D Owner's Manual.html

Check out the web site as well: http://www.meyersaircraft.com/

Enjoy!

Also, anyone out there interested in doing a repaint with a Canadian registration? Let me know.

If you like Piglet's 200D have you seen this thread with my repaint/panel rework for it?

The wood effect fascia really makes a difference IMHO.

Re. the Canadian reg what do you have in mind? Simply changing a reg on an existing paint is very easy to do or did you mean you would like a repaint of an actual Canadian registered 200D?

so, if i wanted all of the meyers' to have that panel, it would work if i replaced the panel folder with the one for your paint, plus the dds. file from the update?

You don't need to replace the panel folder at all (in fact my repaint doesn't have a panel folder in it). To use the wood panel in all paints you would have to get my repaint plus the updated panel file (meyers_200d_panel_update.zip) and then copy the following files into all the other texture folders.
200d_panels.dds (The updated VC panel textures)
200d_02.dds (The external view texture for the interior in daylight)
200d_02_lm.dds (The external view texture for the interior at night)
200d_02_spec.dds (The external view spec map for the interior)
NOTE: My textures are all DDS files so you would need to delete the corresponding BMP files in each texture folder (it might be an idea to back them up somewhere first in case you wanted to revert to the black original panel at some point).
Unfortunately Piglet didn't set up a common texture folder as per the FSX SDK otherwise you could have just moved the files to the 'texture' folder and they would have appeared in all versions and cut down on the amount of disc space used by the textures.

Thanks Tako - if its easier to re-do the registration on an existing paint, I would like to re-register the Red and White paint (?I think was originally done by Cazzie) with C-FPSN... And thanks for pointing out your panel mod - I'm off to download it now!
