1964 Wittman Tailwind. Recovered 3 times, last recover in 1991. Continental 6 cylinder, 12 volt battery system, Nav lights, needs tires soon, seats still in fair condition. Builder installed wood interior. Cargo can hold 60 pounds behind seats. 25 Gallon fuel tank. Cruises at 150 MPH. New prop.

Needs some TLC, some soap and water. Better not wax it though or it might take the paint off.

Located near Anchorage at Hope airstrip in the mountains. First offer gets it.

That is called 'Chelsea Studio', a very wild font that looks like the Craftsman era of the 1930's, as well as being 'Kodiak' (Alaskan) for some reason. I think I have seen similar fonts on stores and things in pictures of Alaska.

Glad you like it! Nothing like some mud and stains on a manly plane. :d

Oh man.. Me too. I have like 400 fonts. I like to paruse the freeware font sites.. But be careful. I have run into a couple that had those virus that popup.

I was hoping it was acompetition to win a free Tailwind, thought 3 beers was fine offer, there was a few more, but unfortunately they got misplaced. 'hic!' shorry :redface:

I will have to postpone getting this one as I need a new HD as one of mine went to silicone heaven taking SH3 and all my other games with it (fortunately my sims are on a dedicated drive :) ) Also need a new exhaust for the motor. It's hard seeing all the great screenies and not having her as mine.

Very nice Bill, but she's still rather clean for a "bushie"...

Sorry I haven't acquired the tailwind yet - just to darn busy with other things.
 
Looks like alot of the planes I work on! Actually that Tailwind is pretty clean...
You can always tell an airplane in which the pilot lets his kids eat in the plane!
