• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

  • Server side Maintenance is done. We still have an update to the forum software to run but that one will have to wait for a better time.

Forum Upgrade

the forums have been upgraded to 4.2.1 and yes IE-10 works with the full editor

hey it works :blind:

lol I had to pull out a vista hard drive to get IE-9 again because IE-10 and winders 7 would not work here.
Now I went back to winders 7 and IE-10

Okay. Time for a test. My General Settings changed back to Enhanced editing. Let's see if I hit the enter key down two lines... here goes...

YEA!! It works.

Now lets see if I can actually add an image from a local file...

YEA!! That works too.

Thanks, Ickie. :ernae: Normal is good....

Hmmm, I just tried to "Mark All Forums Read" and received this in reply:

[h=2]SOH Message[/h]Your submission could not be processed because a security token was invalid.

If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error.

I do not get this error message when I click "Mark All Forums Read".
we have used security tokens for 3 years, log out then delete cookie and log back in, should cur this.

I get the same error message about tokens when I try to mark forums read too. Using Firefox v20.0.1 here.

In addition to signing out and clearing cookies you may have to clear the cache in your browser. (in FF the route is Tools/Options/Advanced/Network tab - Cached Web Content - clear now), close browser then rejoin.

Throught the last year of Win updates, Java updates, browser updates, forum updates I have tinkered with, or bashed through various combinations but clearing the cache has usually helped or been the sole cure. It may be that different browsers reset their markers differently

I can mark each individual forum read using "Forum Tools->Mark this Forum Read" but I cannot mark all forums read using "Forum Actions->Mark Forums Read".
