Fouga

Hello Huub,

Thank you for your kind words about the Fouga Zephyr. We put a lot of work to make sure it is fully capable of carrier operatiosn. We were very lucky to a have in our team a former French Navy pilot you has flown the Zephyr. He has also wrote a tutorial about the carrier operation that give us the possibility to perform realistic carrier operations (catapult lauch, wire catch).

Have a good day

Benoit

no gauges ... ?

Hello,

Wanting brush up on my carrier landing skills in the Zephyr ... I loaded v2.0 from here http://royalefrenchnavy.gratisim.fr/FSX_Avions.htm

Problem is, I have no gauges - did I miss a memo about gauges somewhere? I know mon francais il n'est pas tres bon, but je ne comprend pas???? :jump:

Anyone who's installed v2 with gauges, please share your wisdom ....

dl

ps: a bit off topic, but I have the same problem with the Roland Laborie Crusader ... no gauges ... weird. But the Etendard is fine, so I know it's not a system-wide thing.

many thanks.

somthing you might want to know that when you try to land this aircraft it makes the Clemenceau pitch and roll like she was in high seas its crazy, when your on approach it's nutts, I love it! :salute:

Sorry, I ment to say that I was hoping for an SP2 version that fixes the cockpit glass issues.

Let me help you .... you have two options:

1) flightsim has a mdl fix

2) Royale French Navy site has a complete model update v 2. That's the one I have, and the cockpit glass is perfect.

Now, if someone can help me with gauges, then we'd all have this sorted out. :)

Many kind thanks.

missing gauges

Not wanting to be a pest, but

does anyone know of a fix for the missing gauges? Again, I've installed the V 2.0 model ... anyone else experience this?

thanks,

dl

Sorry I can't help. Haven't had any issues with missing gauges. Running full install of FSX+Acceleration.

Maybe try a manual install and place the gauges directly in the panel folder.

I always do that - never install directly. Install folder produced a "gauges" folder, about 6 or so (am at work now, can't recall exactly) gauges inside. Popped those into the gauge folder - nothing.

I'm thinking of running the FSX 1.1 version. Maybe it has the gauges, which somehow got dropped in the v2 version. Weird.

Running FSX + Accell, btw.

Bugger! Still didn't work.

V1.1 had a gauge file not found in the v2. Thought I had found the issue. But I stuck that in the gauges folder, and it still didn't produce gauges in either the VC or 2D.

Has anyone got gauges to show? This is bizarre - first downloaded their Magister for FS9 years ago, and loved it. Never had an issue.

thanks,

dl

ps: (and I'm a bit redfaced in admitting this ....) I re-read the manual, and sure enough, it says it won't work in SP2 (assuming not working in Accel either). So I thought that might be my issue - but DaveK, you've got it to work. Sounds like Peter12213 has no issues either, (assuming you're running FSX+Accel, mate?) I'm baffled ...
