• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

greetings to all the com-pilots on this platform!

( especially CFS3 )

Ik'em ( from eastern Australia ) trained me a while on Gameranger & invited
me to SOH combat flight center where I found a very friendly atmosphere & a
lot of aces helping me to improve my ( still rookie- ) skills.
on the other side I must admit that the structure of the site (rel.: user
interface ) seems to me somewhat confusing; on my 1st visits every
member had a kind of sign or picture ( & the profile editor still offers
to upload a 100x100 pixel picture ( which never appears anywhere ?)
which is now empty - blocked?) then I don't understand the different levels
of logging in - if that is the reason why I sometimes h a v e friends &
other times not; and last - but not least - I'd like to know how to
post/host a game. ( the >how to [wv903.] said he sent to me I could
never find anywhere (*) - a.m. site-structure? ) so until anyone can give
me some explanation I'll continue enjoying the games I can find on the
respective threads ...

Bienvenue Peta,

I have no kind of experience in game hosting but for your sign picture did you look into the Edit Avatar section ? there's bouton wich enables you to browse into your local folders for any kind of picture. You just have to respect the resolution limits.

I Don't really know what it is for, it's just a message or pics you can stick under the thin line under your replies to tell people a bit more who you are, what kind of beer you prefer, how many Schnitzell you can eat for breakfast, or to let them know who Edgard Schmued was.
