Fox Four F-86E Sabre Risner Textures Uploaded

Hi All,

Just uploaded the textures for the Fox Four Sabre. These represent the F-86E, Ohio Mike/Little Mike, 51-2824, FU-824, flown by Capt. James Robinson "Robbie" Risner while with the 336th FS, 4th FW. He finished the Korean Conflict with 8 victories.

f-86 Little Mike- NO JOY HERE!!!

Is this a whole new aircraft or textures only. If textures, which version of the 86 are they fitting the EUP. LOD or whatever. Took awhile to get them in progressive order on my part. So I want to make sure I do it right. LOOKS GOOD on the thumb!

Look in the Extras section on the Fox Four site. The KWCFS2 F86-Eup.zip is the complete plane. It should include the update that is above it and on TR's site.
These are textures only and should fit any of the FF Sabre models. If you have any problems, let me know and I'll send you what you need.

Thanks for the reply. I have them all in, I believe, chronological order, so that any out of order updates don't cancel out the improvements. That is what I wanted to make sure of that it was a texture on the last improvement. Now I can have him in the pack with Parr and the rest of the great ones.

The Eup.zip is a complete aircraft posted in March 2007, BUT the file above it is a MDL file only that was further improved and posted in October 2007....per the description on the site. So you want to install the Eup.zip aircraft, and then replace the MDL file with the latest upgrade. :ernae:

Extremely nice skins, Bub...as usual. :medals:

FOOTNOTE: With the Eup.zip version, the October 2007 MDL update and any of Bub's fine skins, I firmly believe this modernized six-year-old original by Hayden Scott-Williams provides the best mix of visual and performance realism, framerates, player and AI performance of any Sabre available in CFS2...including any of the more recent conversions. I can't believe I just wrote that :friday:.

These textures turned out great! I was experimenting with some shine combinations...till the progy tool went south on me for some unknown reason. Not as good as OBIO can get with Mdlmat...but it has something now. Soon he'll have that extra time I hope to give her the proper treatment. But his plate is pretty full right now. Priorities first...ya know. As for the Skin..TopNotch. Thanks
