FREE BEER...BF-108 repaint WIP

Blues is Life
After I finished up Tejanahawk, I wondered how that scheme might look adapted to the BF-108 which is another favorite plane of mine. It turned out fine, then the funnybone kicked in and I added some teeth on the air intake...kinda looked like buckteeth...and being a German plane it should carry good beer, so...I present Tejanawench...the bucktooth beer maid.

The pinup, yeah shes another andorian...gotta keep a theme going. I tried to give her buckteeth too but the pixels were too small. The German phrase should translate to 'Bucktooth barmaid/waitress'...perhaps a German speaker can help me correct it gramatically as I just found the words of an internet translation site.

I love this bird. I fly it quite often when I want to relax.
Your repaint seems a bit too clean, though. Too new. Do you think you could add a little bit of weathering to it ? I'm not talking about a dirty or "rust in peace" aircraft. Just an aircraft that had a flight or two already :)

A little wider red outline at the intake and you get a nice pout. :)

"Vorstehender Zahn" would be ok-ish, the barmaid is a "Kellnerin" though.
"Fräulein" is a form of adress, no longer used today in times of women's liberation. :)
If it's the tooth of a rabbit you had in mind I would better use "Hasenzahn-Kellnerin".

Yeah, I need to adjust the alphas a bit. Think I got a little too much reflection in the silver areas. I was trying to make the silver areas look like that of SE-BZN.

Mathias, I'll change it to "Hasenzahn-Kellnerin" haha

Haha I'll work on making a formation shot :). I have adjusted the alphas and spec files as much as I can I think. SE-BZN was sort my template for shine/clean state.

Fantastic Paint

The way the black still show the aircraft is nicely done :applause:

Sometimes black paint can look like a black hole (like the aircraft is missing bits)
