haveing a brain fart moment again, anyone rember the name of that free flight planner which used google maps and allowed you add waypoints etc???

ta :)

Oooh, that looks great. I already have plan-G playing on a second monitor, flying an approach with it would a be great addition.

Cheers, Rob

Agreed, Plan-G seems to be getting better all the time.

I use a real world planner Voyager when flying In the U.S. and a limited area of Canada, as I get scanned Sectionals and all my IAP plates included within my plan in one program, but did use Plan-G exclusively on a previous European tour, and it worked great. the addition of approach info will start make me wonder if I should use it instead. If I could get all my elevation per way-point info in addition to the pattern, it would even be better....wonder if that is possible via the FS database?

In Google Earth, I have sectional map overlays for CONUS.
I am really hoping that one day Tim will add that ability as well to Plan-G.
Aaaand eventually fuel/range calculation. :icon_lol:

But I agree, despite it being resource heavy at times (Why its networked on the laptop now), I use Plan-G every flight and highly recommend it.
Looking forward to the approaches, and especially the taxiway diagrams!
