Free Hudson/Lodestar Expansion Pack

I haven't got to the Model 6 yet. Busy working on the MK 3.

Here is a WIP of a MK 3 that I am doing. It was originally for the Super Electra in the original pack. I need to tidy up the Alpha channel and a couple of other bits then will unleash it on the world. If anyone see anything wrong with this one please let me know.
 
Looking good, Pat. Did SMH really operate one of these, or are you exercising some creative licence here? Either way, we need a few more civvy skins for this bird - the lettering looks great! :salute:
 
Actually the Fairfax owned Herald Newspapers owned several Hudsons for delivery of newspapers throughout NSW from just after WWII until the mid 50s.

Another site that is useful is this one: http://www.adf-serials.com/. Just enter A16-*** and it should bring up the serial numbers flown by the RAAF during WWII.

Adastra had several colour schemes and I am working on those as well as a couple of East West Airlines Electras and a couple of others as well.

One more Norwegian bird; C-60 "A" of No 20 Sqn RNoAF, summer 1945. Olive drab on the top and black under, the decals are standard British except for the rudders which have the pre war Norwegian flag decal. Non standard font "A" in 4 locations and the title "Luftforsvaret" (Air Force) in small writing on the fuselage.

Francois, I have noticed that the taliwheel lock lever does not work on the MK 3 Civil model. You click on it and it does not move. Using the SHIFT+G key combination does not work either.

can we see some info..or screenies of this Anson?....its another of those "just too cool" planes ive allways dreamed about.

the de havoline dove is another..with that cool little bubble top like cockpit...awesome...some say..when its ugly..davey falls deeper in love with it...
 
Following the release last year of the FSAddon Lockheed Hudson/Super Electra/Lodestar and the release last week of the expansion pack for this aircraft it has prompted me to remove the primary digit and get some repaints finished and new ones started.

I need photos (colour if possible) of the afore mentioned aircraft to help me along.

Forget the Adastra or RAAF Hudsons as I have photos of them coming out of my ears. The ones I mainly need are East West Airlines and any other airline that operated them in Australia or overseas.

To put one thing straight I have made a very good friend of Google over the last few months without a lot of luck. So now I am asking if anyone out there has photos or slides that they can scan and send me via email I will be a very happy chappy.

I will not put my email address here but if someone has the required photos/scans then they can contact me by PM and we can arrange something.

Incidentially the next one on my paint list is the GAS Stinson. Looks like I will be renewing my relationship with Ms Google again

Francois has stated that they have incorporated certain anomalies and mistakes in the (freeware) product in order to see if the customers have a sense of humor and if they're paying attention. See Page 2.

I dunno ..... must be a European thing !! :=)
 
I also still have some vacancies for serious beta testers who are not working for the competition already...... :icon_lol::icon29:
 
VH-SMM has been uploaded and should be available when the mods ok it. Not the best paint as I had some difficulties but have done the best I could.

Also Francois am I still on your beta testers list?
