It is a little rough around the edges, but guess that is what you get with a WIP.

it will be interesting to see how it progresses, but the bomb release is nice feature.

Fsadni's been doing some interesting stuff. He's got most of the native WW2 military freeware out there for MSFS.

He purchases 3D models and then adapts the animations, format, etc. to MSFS. They're fun casual flies -- I tend to download them and play around a bit, and maybe keep them around to use as statics for Flying Heritage and Combat Armor Museum. :)

They generally have performance numbers in-line with the real planes, but the flight models aren't sophisticated. If someone who really lnew MSFS flight models would team up with him, there'd be potential for some really great stuff.

TL;DR: Nice to see and fun, but don't set your expectations too high on how much more realistic they'll get, and don't cancel the payware plane you're working on.

If it's a free warbird, it's worth a little glue - as long as the FD's aren't pure trash. It's nice of the dev to spend a little on the 3D model and then release for free.

For freeware, his stuff is excellent, I rated all 5.0. I have a slew of his work, not all in the Community folder at one time.

I just wish he would not use the RAR format, I really hate installing extra 3rd party tools that are unnecessary.

Use Windsailor to download your stuff from flightsim.to. Makes managing downloads and updates soooo much easier. Just point it to your Community directory and it downloads and extracts automatically.

Yep, I'm not complaining about freeware! It'd just be nice if some folks could pitch in to flesh out the parts of the planes that he's not as experienced in. In the B-25 description he mentions he'd love help with views, since that's not his forte and he'd apparently rather focus on quantity vs depth. :)

If he had folks to help out with views and flight modeling, these would be that much more awesome.

I remember looking into the feasibility of using Windsailor, but as I use Add-on Linker, and very little actually is installed in my Community folder, I don't see how it can work for me. NC

I suppose if I say I'm going to stick it, I should actually do it! :banghead:
