French beauties...

I began pestering Nole about some nuclear French weapons for Alphasim Mirage IV. He did an A11 nuclear device, a fantastic ASMP and fine specific tanks. After that, I resolve to attack all operational Armee de l'Air and Marine Nationale vectors. Than, appeared a Alpha Super Etendard and a Mirage 2000N. Studying more use for Nole's nuclear weapons, appeared a very fine VTOL plane, the Mirage IIIV, beautifully made by GMax Academy. I also converted two fine Patrice Grange Mirage G8 (unhappily it has some textures issues).

I'll began to upload them in a few days, begining with the two planes that don't need authorization, the Mirage IV (in three versions), and the Super Etendard (this one a work made almost entirely by Nole). Bellow, the Mirage IIIV VTOL fighter!

It's a shame that the VTOL Mirage didn't enter service, would have been nice in Royal Australian Navy Colours flying from HMAS Melbourne. Interesting "what if" scenario for the Falklands, British Harriers versus Argentinian VTOL Mirages ?

On the subject of French beauties, another project, hope to have standard French Camo, night fighter/intruder, French Naval, Free French, Vichy French, British, German, Italian, Romanian, Hungarian, and Bulgaraian skins, all as what if's:-
 
I think the French act wisely. The Mirage IIIV was very complex and would be a nightmare to service in operational conditions with NINE engines... I prefer the Mirage G.8...

Hi peperez,

There is a GMAX Super Etendard originally made for FS2002, has a nice 2d panel and virtual cockpit. It comes in both French and Argentine colors. Unfortunately, the conversion leaves one of the speed brakes in the deployed position.

and Frank Safranek.

Back in FS 8 days that Super Etendard was my favorite jet bar none. Its animation was amazing.

Obio did a nice update of the Alphasim freeware Super Etendard too.

Looking forward to the new Mirages Pepi.
 
Now we need a French carrier to launch from. Wasn't the Brazilian carrier Sao Paulo formerly a French vessel?
Edit: According to the readme that came with the Virtual Navy's Sao Paulo, it is, in fact, the former French carrier "Foch".
Jagd, that SE looks awesome in your screenies. I completely forgot about Obio's update to Alphasim's SE, he did several skins for it, that's the ticket for CFS2.

I'm working now in a AI version for the Mirage IV and the Super Etendard Modernisé... I'm working hard at real life, with a new President at the Foreign Affairs Committe.

I hope you enjoy them... The next project is the very beautiful Giuli's Ro57 dive bomber! It complements Bismarck's Ro57 fighter.
