From the SOH Librarian's desk...

Good morning,

I am in the mood for a little library cleaning, and asked Milton this morning to help me. If you are a developer and have uploaded to SOH, please check your uploads for beta versions and older versions you would like to remove from the library.

Milton Shupe was nice enough to clean up the "1.0" and "WIP" versions of his files.

How to do this?

If you go to the library, go into a download section where you know you have a file stored, and look on the right for your username, and an eyeglass with a "+" sign in the middle of it. Clicking on that will allow you to see all of the files you have uploaded. This will give you a chance to peruse your files and figure out what can be eliminated.

If you have a patch or a fix, see if you can combine the packages, even re-uploading them if necessary, and I will take care of the rest if you can't.

With thanks,

I always forget to say a big thank you for all your hard work, Rami.
So here it is now.:ernaehrung004:

Mike,

Sorry for not seeing this! It's my pleasure to do it...I'm so used to doing it, it's become second nature.

Rami,

I'm going to upload my duck with the update included and I've added the paint kit. That will get rid of one file. It will keep the same dl count? How can I best do this? Can I send the file without having to go through all the other stuff and you can plug it in to the same slot?

Paul,

Yes, I can plug it into the same download without losing the info...but I also thought you can access your own downloads and make adjustments. Is this not true anymore?

I'm not seeing any way of altering the files after clicking the eyeglass + sign. It seems that only uploading a new file is an available alternative.

After you view your uploads and want to remove one: Click the Edit Icon, which allows you to edit all info of that upload.
To remove an upload: go to the bottom of that page, check the Delete checkbox and press the Delete button next to it ...

PS: Just deleted 6 of my (old version) files ...
