Frontline Registry Cleaner

Just wanted to give a heads up about this registry cleaner, do not get it!. It deletes important files and makes programs unusable. I've already had to re-install Microsoft Security Essentials and my photo editing software and my scanner software.

I was having a problem with the D3D9.dll and thought that it would clear it up. It was recommended to use it with the instructions to clear this problem up. But it did not help that much. CCleaner is a better option!

Second CCleaner, and F-Secure. I had RegCure for a time which worked as well as any other, but free CCleaner is hard to beat.

One of the programs in my security suite, I forget if it's Spybot Search & Destroy or another one, pops a box whenever it encounters a registry cleaner during a scan: "It has never been established that cleaning the registry actually improves computer speed or performance. We do not recommend purchasing software that cannot be demonstrated to have any practical use." (Or similar words; I can't swear by the exact verbiage.)

For those who really want a registry cleaner, the techies at the shop where my system was built recommend Eusing Free Registry Cleaner. It's free, it does the job quite thoroughly, and it doesn't seem to mess up anything else, at least not that I've ever seen or heard of.

If error(system or softawre setting) in the registry base .. you will know immediately when you boot your PC (error message from Windows .. and sometime Windows will not continue to boot)
Cleaning registry base just for the pleasure of cleaning is meaningless .. but have sometime like a placebo effect on some users (Windows booting faster .. :icon_lol: )
