I have been thinking of going for the A2A B-17, didn't know there was another one. How do they compare? Strong/weak points of either one? Who has both of them? Any advice?
Looking at the screenshots in this thread, I think I'll go for A2A, or is it the quality of the shots? The textures seem awfully blurry to me, bit like the new FW190 before the update, only worse.

the A2A b17 is laggy very bad and this one has a better model plus much nicer textures and with A2A it takes longer to load

Its a neat little aircraft ... I have to spend more time with it.

The FS-Cast B-17 also has numerous LOD's, so if you like flying in a large formation you can still get great FPS. I've had 21 planes in formation and still got 30 fps with a resolution of 2560x1600 on a 30" screen (Intel QX9650 chip). When you drop your bombs, the other B-17's drop at the same time...which is pretty cool.
