FS-KBT L-188 Electra full FSX out

do i need the update on flightsim.com it it works with fine what does that update do?

Hi. You are more than welcome. I see that the autopilot section in the aircraft.cfg says there is autothrottle and that autothrottle arming is required. Is there any autothrottle available? Can the autopilot be used in the NAV mode? Regards, Bob.

lol, it would appear not which is kind of a departure from what KBT is usually capable of. Most of the posts here are to explain how to bypass this or mod that and then a few who have said basically it's fine the way it is, lol.

I don't know about the autothrottle. I didn't have anything to do
with the aircraft.cfg or model. I just gave KBT permission
to use my panel which I had developed for the old Mike
Stone FS2004 L-188.

As for the autopilot, it should work OK in the NAV mode
but I see there is no HDG hold switch in the VC. You would
need to use the switches on the 2D panel windows to activate
the various modes. I know I've flown this L-188 with
the autopilot engaged to the runway threshold using
APPROACH mode.
