Hallo,
to change a bit from choppers or other warbirds,
I went sailing, even it was a bit windy.
Wonder if some one (perhaps our french friends?)
finds out where I was sailing
Best Regards

on the coast of Étretat, Haute Normandie...? ;)

a little advice, it is very very close to where I live
I can see the monument seen at starboard, from my house
Sadly a part of this monument the site has never been done - and certainly never would be done
historicly very interestingg from age of stone to our days

Good evening Bernard,
you got it.
And the trip was done with real weather on.
Wonder if some one will do this part of the brittany coast he could include the tide streams and the numerous beacons LOL
O what do I dream in my sleepless nights LOL
Would be an interesting new topic or theme not only for sailing: "where have I been?" with screenies from inside the craft, boats choppers or
airplanes
Best regards

I see new opportunities for Ian

I was just reading Ian Elliot's favourite airfield will most probably re-open again. So he soon can make a post closure version.....

Manston in one of Ian's many versions. This is his pre-war version

Captain Kurt released a closed canopy version of the G50

As the title already tells, C_K released a closed canopy version of the Fiat G50.

This was used in the early stage of the war by the Regia Aeronautica. I am very happy Kurt did this model as it was the common G50 used during the Spanish Civil War.
I intend to do some repaints for the beautiful bird.

(Well actually it is a beautiful model from an ugly bird :biggrin-new: :biggrin-new: :biggrin-new:)

Cheers,

Even without any colors or markings on it you could recognize an Italian airplane at first glance!

Although they are definitely interesting, I don't consider the MC.200 and G.50 good looking aircraft. However their successors, the MC.202 Folgore and the G.55 Centauro are among the most beautiful WWII fighter in my opinion.

Cheers,
Huub

I agree. They are as beautiful as their radial engined predecessors were awkward!

LOL, back in the early 70's, in sports car racing, the Ferrari 512 engine was said to have been designed by a Rolex engineer while the Porsche 917 engine was by a welder.
