Not all nightfighters are boring ;)

Cheers,

Is that the groundcrew model?, interesting flags on the side of the cockpit, never seen that before. If you feel like sharing, ill take one

Huub,
Love your re-tex of the 110, one of my fave for the D/E. I thought you had uploaded it here, if not, a must...;)

Ian, that's sharp!
Standard tex or?

Cheers

With the B-52 thread winding down, I felt like celebrating with some "new" payware. :wiggle:

XP-72.jpg

The XP-72 from the Wings Of Power P-47 Jug package.
A2A/WoP is still out there:

I snagged mine with a discount and dropped $8.50 for a full range of Jugs.
You get pretty much everything from the razor backs to the M and N variants plus the XP-72.
Good sound package as well. :encouragement:
My only gripes so far are the typical A2A/WoP stuff. The planes just "feel" lite compared to the Alphasim P-47s (which one is "right"? :indecisiveness: ) plus the bare metal textures are a little too shiny and the nav light FX's need some updating. Still, you get the full range of P-47's which includes eye candy like the later, wider "paddle style" prop blades on some of the models and rocket launcher tubes and bombs.

good choice, i have that and the FW190 also, but you should have had a look at Miltons freeware 72 in our library to compare and contrast

Someone had mentioned the He-219, which led me back to A2A. :wiggle:

Several years ago, I scored some (Heavy Bombers and Jets, etc.) of the WoP DVD packages as "used software" on Amazon. :loyal:
I've since installed a lot of their stuff, I'm still on the fence with their ME-109 and FW-190 although I DID have to snag their long-nose FW's.

Alphasim kinda got me spoiled. Its pretty natural to compare WoP to Alpha, they defiantly are not "same-but-re-packaged" aircraft.

Perhaps it was me who mentionned the He219 from A2A.
The plane is well done, the 2D panel hmm, but the VC is really well done so I fly her only from the VC.
The only thing I would critic is that for the A-5 and the A-7 versions there are only czech paint for the A-5
and a RAF paint for A-7. Other wise very interesting to fly and a good manual which merrits realy to be read.

Very nice L, really like your RLM 76 interpretation.

Thanks Shessi
Well I did roughly inspire from this profile, I can't recall where I found it. No idea about the accuracy of the color but it looked plausible enough to go for a livery. Still a WIP, I'll probably further refine it. The grey would trend to be blue-ish while mine still too clear on white.

L,
Yes, the whole tex is really nice (I look forward to it!), it was just that your RLM76 Lichtblau, is one of the best interpretations of the colour for the sim I've seen.

Cheers
