FS2004 Screenshots Here!!!

Hello Hurricane,

It's an old model for cfs2. Authors : James Bank and Dave Sullenger, it's available on SOH, simviation and flightsim. It has basic V. cockpit, moving parts et cowl flaps.
I did a kind of "restauration", by painting my own texture with alpha and TuFun custom envmap, modifying the MDL to get a little speculiar shine, reworking the VC to get close of a real "restaured" warbird.

Im currently reworking the Seversky P35 from the same autors that competed against the P36 for USAAC offer. I may upload both but I would need authors autorisation before. Sometime they are not answering because the model is too old and their mail adress are not valid anymore...

L'iguane, your textures on the Curtiss are outstanding. I would like to see your updates for both the P-35 and P-36 uploaded. Perhaps someone here at SOH knows how to get in touch with the original authors.

USN Grumman E-2C Hawkeye

Hi!

Here are some fresh repaints for the Grumman E-2C Hawkeye by Pierre Marchadier (Gmax Academy), haven't found any USN repaints for this plane, so I decided to make my own ones :banghead:

..this is a nice option for simmers not having the payware model included on the "Flight Deck 5" pack, so I should upload a 6 or 7 texture pack on the next days..

H-75 C1 and P-36C

bare metal Curtiss H-75 C1 as it was delivered at its delivery for the French Air Force and P-36 of 77 Pursuit Squadron at Moffett Field late 30's.

I wrote to the 2 authors for permission to upload my mod's. One mail was bounced and Im still waiting answer for the second one.
I may upload when finished, and quote them for credits as original authors.
If someone know or is a member of 1% team who did these models for cfs2 please contact me.

The main gun fires as soon as you appear in game. I usually press A cycle back to virtual cockpit to turn it off. Other then that it's perfect.
Thank you Dave. Don't want to split this into offtopic, just one final question: How about the canopy and its alpha channel? Most problems are caused by this...

Okay, here my post to bring it back to topic:

The biggest plane ever landed at RAF Gütersloh those days:

Must have been a long time ago for those C-5s to land there.

All it handles now are helicopters.

They closed the full length of the runway.

Is it still RAF or is it now completely German?

No, RAF Gutersloh was closed a long time ago - 1993 the Harriers went back to UK, then only Lynx AH7 and AH9 did their job until october 2012. Since that time until today, only army is using this big area.

Some few more - Lightnings! (sorry, a little weathered...)
