FS2004 Scenery--Muxtamel Airfield (LEMU). Situated about 6km north of Alicante, Muxtamel airfield is not listed in the Spanish AIP, being a small one, but still plays an important role in aviation as a training center for full PPL/CPL on fixed wing and rotary aircraft. The airfield does not have navaids, being only for VFR, but you can use the VOR's and NDB at LEAL as a navigational aid. This scenery was created by Barry Martin Edwards using ADE9x.

Thanks; notified Flightsim

Thank you Milton & team for one more beautiful aircraft ! It's very nice to fly the Mallard and I managed to take-off on water, with 100% throttle just to start moving.

I've modified the 2D panel for my old 4:3 screen (attached screenshot) and added vc & cabin lights so that it is a bit less dark inside during night flights.

Thanks again for all the good work and best regards,
Raphael

Hi Raphael, happy to see you getting some pleasure from the Mallard.
Yes, sorry about the 2D panel as I have a wider screen, but happy you could adjust it. Others may benefit from your work if you are receptive to sharing it.

Setting up some Wind or running real world weather is important for water take offs; makes it very easy.

Frankly I get much more enjoyment flying in RWx especially with some good winds; feels more realistic.

Have fun :)

She's a beauty! I did my first flight with her yesterday and it is a brilliant model which flies perfect too! And such loving attention to detail - eg the cockpit windows from outside.
Thank you Milton and all the team for this superb addition to our sim!

Sascha66, thank you on behalf of Manecas (Rui), Firekitten (Rachael), Nigel, and Stokes2112 (Roman). They do awesome work and I am fortunate to have them make the Mallard what it became.

Thank you Milton for the tip regarding Real Weather. I also usually fly using RW, but had clear weather and no wind while testing the Mallard on water.

You shouldn't be sorry after offering to us so many nice aircrafts. I decided I wouldn't change my screen before it dies, so I can manage the necessary panel modifications.

Of course, I'm willing to share this panel mod if it can be useful to anyone with an older screen. You'll find everything in the attached zip : please, do as you want with this.

Thank you and best regards,
Raphael

Lovely textures Nigel! Never thought a throttle lever would excite me... :)

There's lots to this model: isn't the hull the most beautifully sculpted thing?

and I love flying it. I wonder if this is in the 'Not permitted under any circumstances" section?
If you're careful you can do it all day...

Thank you Wing_Z. I think most would agree with you on the design shape. It was very important to capture this as closely as possible when modeling.

LOL Yes, I seriously doubt one would risk loosing a wing over such a thing, but I too do that in the sim for fun. :)

Aaaaah! You're looking awesome there, as always Wing_Z :wiggle:

Glad to hear I'm not the only one around here doing wierd things with aircraft. :)

If it's flashy throttles and fun stuff in VC's that excites you good people, get yer butts over to the 'There's Nothing Like Fresh Mesh ...' thread.

We have some eye candy updates for ya'ol!
