FS9 Repairs

Well, I somehow, in my attempts to customize FS9, have screwed up it's registry. When I try to open Edit VoicePack I get an error message that tells me so, and that if I do not know how to fix it manually, I should just re-install FS9. Also, the registry error/problem prevents me from installing some of my payware airplanes. I tried the manual repair as explaned in the EVP readme and now I have two FS9 installs , but the original one, the one with the fouled up registry, still has a fouled up registry. I REALLY don't want to do a new complete install of all of my sceneries and other mods.

I seem to remember that (I'm sorry, but I have to admit this) that FSX Acceleration has a "repair" option on the install disc. So, question: Is ther a way to "repair" FS9? Can I just redo the registry without doing a complete installation? I could not find that in either the default or the custom installation options.

Maybe one of you gurus out ther has the answer for me. I'd certainly appreciate one.
