FS9 running under windows 7

My mouse moves around in the VC but will not change into a hand to activate levers and switches...anyone know of a fix?

Just a wild guess, but there is a W7 feature called active desktop or something like that, which may cause issues. I think you can right click the start icon for FS and then uncheck that feature for that application.

I've several FS9 installations running on their own HD under Windows 7 ultimate and have no problems.
FWIW, I did reset the desktop back to the old plain vanilla theme instead of the Aero theme, but IIRC it wasn't because of any performance hits in FS9, just my own choice.
It is an odd quirk just the same.

If you are also running fsX then the most likely reason for the "vanilla" theme decision was because fsX dosen't like the Aero option. In fact, it will reset the theme when you fire it up. This became irritating to me so I also dropped back to the plain option.
