At first I wrote this one off because yet another Garmin/Rotax combo and I have quite a hangar full of this class of plane. But I have FSReborn's Sting S4 and it's just so superbly crafted and has been well-supported, and Raul mentioning a free FS2024 upgrade will include a float version (which I don't have in this weight class) made me bite the bullet and buy it.
The Sirius TL3000 nails the feeling of flying a very lightweight single. I took it for some test flights around the Oregon coast with real-world weather, and it’s windy today. This is a very light plane, and landing was challenging with the winds gusting. I was afraid I was going to test the tire damage feature, but I managed to get it down gently enough. Performance and flight feel is excellent.
The detail's awesome. Superb visuals, GTN 750 option, and a ton of realism/wear and tear features that will eventually lead to an exciting in-flight emergency as I plan to maintain the plane horribly so that I can experience a surprise failure.
Highly recommended if you're looking for a plane with study-level realism that doesn't require extensive study to fly.
