• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

I'm using WordPad to make my edits to the text files.
Under the "View" menu in Wordpad you'll see options, click that and then select "No Wrap"
That will allow the numbers to all line up and it's much easier to insert your offset information. You can have more than one line of offset information, so if you wanted to have a time offset as well as a position offset, you'd just put that info under the position offset text.

In your sample I see you still have a line of offset instructions above the "latitude, longitutde, altitude---etc" line.
The offset info goes after that line. That could be what's screwing things up for you.

I trimmed the image to make the file size smaller so all the information being captured doesn't show in the screenshot.

I just made mine look exactly like yours with word wrap off and it's still not converting. It still says 'minimum data required is latitude, longitude, pitch, bank, heading and altitude', or something like that.

This is maddening. I want it to work REALLY bad.

Tig,

I use notepad and make sure that your $*****Offset: details are on a separate line of their own and that there are no commas in the statement i.e....

$Offset: 15 0 -15
$TimeOffset: 1.5
