FSS 727 Freighter Released!

August 13th at Contrail, £29.45 - good bit cheaper for UK buyers and as I'm away for the weekend anyway I'll wait.
 
It looks nice ( how can a 727 not look nice ). I'll see what 'Into The Blue Simulations' has to say before buying.
 
Picked it up, absolutely excellent! Best and only good 727 since the old Captain Sim model.
 
Yes, the FSS Boeing 727-200F is really great. Excellent flight behavior, very good sounds. Great systems.
 
What about performance ( fps ) ??...

I seem to notice a significant attack on my precious framerate when flying the 727...

Also what's up with this 'Gitbook' ?.... ( english not my native tongue but doesn't 'git' mean a particularly annoying elderly or childish person ?... ;-) I can't seem to sign up to that Gitbook. Seems the only way to get to the Manual ?....

Yes, i guess fps is not that bad really. I might have to revisit 'get the best out of MSFS' , long time ago when i did that.

This wonderful 727 model sure worth it !

Grabbed it and flew it once around the patch. First impression - love it. Tomorrow I'll go to cold and dark, bring it to life, fly it and mess with the Navs. Looking forward to the repaints, and down the road, the pax version.

I excited about this and will buy as soon, but am waiting for it to show up at a site that uses an installer client, which right now limits me to the Marketplace, ORBX and SimMarket. Most FlightSim Studio AG aircraft are in the Marketplace so will probably have to wait for that.
 
So...even though I am "Reading The Flippin Manual" (****), I am being dogged by an audible horn that starts at about 9,000 feet, and stays on until I am down below that altitude. I know it is not the "Speedbrake deployed" horn, or the gear horn (I'm not at idle or near-idle when I hear it, power-wise). Anyone have any idea what it might be?

Contrail will do this I think, and 727 will be available on the 13th.

Personally I won't buy from the marketplace unless absolutely no option...
 
UPDATE: Life goes so much better in the 727 when you use the "Crew Manager" feature...LOVE this airplane. I can't wait for the -200 pax version, and I hope that a -100 (both pax and cargo) is in their future....LOVE the "Jurrasic Jet".
