when i set up my controllers ,i did it as one "map" for all aircraft,BUT now that i have the BAe-146,id like to set up a profile for it alone, and have all the other planes "mapped" to "my default" for twin's.can i do this?..also can i map ONE throttle lever for the port engines, and ONE lever for the starboard engines?..or should i do all 4 engines seperate?..and just re-map the whole thing for the BAe-146?...

bottomline, can i have 300 planes mapped to one default profile, and have one plane with a custom profile just for it?

Thanks Dave

Your question was worded fine.. I imagine the forum issues temporarily slowed traffic down.

You can have aircraft specific profiles. Making a specific profile will not mess with your assignments for the 300 other aircraft you operate unless you assign this specific profile to the other aircraft.

Load aircraft you want to make the assignment for.
Open FSUIPC
Go to the Axis Assignment tab
Click on the Profile Specific checkbox
Assign general assignments
Create new profile and name it (BAE146 would be a fine name).
and make the changes to the buttons and axis' that you want.

To assign 4 engines to two throttles, click on the joystick calibration tab, page over to page 3 of 11 (Separate throttles per engine), go to the throttle 4 calibration box and put a check in the Map 1->1,2 2->3,4 checkbox and hit ok. Make sure you've calibrated both hardware throttles (Same tab) otherwise they may look like they are not being advanced evenly.
