FSX F-15E?

Rattler

Charter Member
Am I wrong in saying that I thought there was a Thread not too long ago about Someone Building a Native FSX Strike Eagle, Or have I lost My Mind?

Wouldnt be a Bit Surprised if the 2nd were True!!.. LOL:salute::salute::salute:

I DO hope that someone is building a native FSX F-15E!
Otherwise it wouldn't make much sense that I just have purchased high alpha & F100-PW-229 flight test data for the F-15E...;)

Strike Eagle? Ey? Wazzat? Does it have wings? A tail or two? LOTS and LOTS of weapons that will work just like the Razbam A-7? With systems and gauges done by the same coder as the Razbam A-7? With an FDE by the same guy who did the C310R? Tested by some members of vUSAF and the same team that did the C310R? And looks like this:

gee... I don't know... maybe

Right then!!

Good to know that I`m not going Crazy..... I think!:ernae::ernae::ernae:

Now that looks Great, This will be a Must Have for me aswell!!!!

poly count is well under 200K. For the left wing.

(for those who are not paying attention, this is a joke). Total count is less than that of the Huey after having been fixed.

You will need Acceleration as well as a newer computer/vid card for sure though. A P4 with 256 megs of ram and a cheapo vid card will NOT be flying this. Slide show anyone?

We apologize for the delay on this project. The model has been done (if you look up my previous posts it actually was in the simulator before progress halted). While we were doing some research/looking for programmers we decided to go full throttle with the 310R. Now that the 310 is done, and the latest SP is out we are able to shift our focus back to the F-15E. I think everyone will be pleased with what is in store. There is also some other stuff in the pipeline, but all will be revealed in due time.

:icon_lol: (Love the use of "Take A Ride" by Don Felder from 'Heavy Metal' in the video as well :ipepsi2:)

I sure hope one of those projects consist of a F-22 Raptor !:jump:

These projects I speak of are actually unannounced as of yet. Some of the stuff we are doing for the F-15 is actually going to help with the -22 development. That bad part about the Raptor is we do not have access to operating manuals (for obvious reasons). It is not in the imminent future though. I am stoked that at least we have the F-15 back rolling after a brief pause.

I was running it a few monthsn ago on my Toshiba X205-9539 laptop, with a meager Nvidia 8700M GT. So I think your GTS250 should be able to handle it.

Great looking video! Did I read it right, it is a C and an E? It would be great to have a nice flying C. Bitburg in the 1980s here I come!
:salute:

Unfortunately the video is very old, and the F-15E is the only one being done currently at this time. The reason we are concentrating on the E is we are using the -229 engines so the flight files are different. It is an idea we are kicking around to continue doing both, but at the moment we are just doing the E. Originally the plan was to release them together as a package, but we have focused our efforts on doing the F-15E, and a few other different types of birds.

For those that haven't seen this is the work that has been done thus far. We put it in with a generic FDE and all so nope, not close to release. Just gives you an idea of what you can expect in the finished product looks wise.

**Top few images are of the C model, but just put them up like I said so you can get a feel of what we are going for**

All of the new models these days are really hitting new benchmark highs. Sometimes I just have to pinch myself.
