This is really an fantastic aircraft.
Nice to fly and great sounds,which changes when you open the canopy.
In my opion very well done flight dynamics.
Will take her often out of the hangar.

Very neat package! Nice aircraft, great manual, although not all nuts and bolts are described (e.g. super inflating) and a nice carrier tutorial. Former Zephyr instructor gives great info. Alround a great package! Nice and merci beaucoup :salute:!

Many thanks for this, a great addon. You French people are really making superb addons these days, congratulations on the achievements :salute: Be careful with the throttles on this one.... I lost both engines at 7000ft AGL over mountains, managed to air-:wiggle:start

Not had time to look at in sim yet, but on the instructions it says......

Not Compatable with FSX-SP2, I am guessing that means just NOT SP2 (without Acceleration).

The Magister was one of my all time faves in FS9, so this will be a great addition, thanks to all involved!

Hi,
This Zephyr was build with the Acceleration SDK and tested with Acceleration... I think that the author means that some feature may not work with SP2 or previous FSX release.

Anneke : we are lucky to have in our teams (Restauravia/RFN) some former pilots who gaive us a lot of priceless informations. Pilot manuals take different meanings when you have their explications...:ernae:

atf300 : I'm not in the secret of Restauravia discussions, but I'm not sure that the Magister is already planned... Certainly change is needed?...But I agree with you, it would be great...

Granted.... it's not the correct model, but is anyone interested in painting a Zephyr as a Magister in Irish Air Corps "Silver Swallow" paint? :)

I have tested the beast and made some more screenshots to show the excellence of this model.

Of course I've been training my carrier landings with the Clemenceau. Somewhere in the nordic seas. The virtual cockpit has beautifull textures and is almost fully clickable.

With such a slow plane, carrier landings are done "finger in the nose", even on such a small carrier like the Clemenceau. This is my second attempt, on the first one I've been too cautious and overshooted a little...

The virtual cockpit has several subviews (A key). One of them is the backseat :jump:

An amazing quality for a freeware plane for sure. This plane is extremely pleasant to pilot, and quite rewarding too due to its lack of power. To me, it's kind of the Curtiss Jenny for the jets ;)
 
I suppose it was meant to offer forward view to the instructor who was usually sitting in the backseat. Just a guess...
