Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

    Thank you for your support.

FSX Native B-26 Marauder Goes "Gold"

I know the profile you're speaking of. Any help with nose art and other particulars that may vary from the available profile would be most appreciated.

Nose art and fuselage mottling is done...

Duckie! Holy cow! That is fantastic! I can't wait until I have some days off to get in that bird! Can't thank you enough. Here is a pic of my grandfather, Cliff Bailey. There weren't as many mission markings as in the profile. You can see it's not as weathered when it didn't have 50+ missions on her. I wish it was a better pic, and I will get one asap. But, my mother was emailing this from her iphone camera I think. Not the best. MAN that looks sweet!(the repaint)
I wish our current Air Force uniforms were so rakish.

Thank you BrittMac. That is a great photo and an awesome memory to hang onto!

Magnificent! Haven`t had nearly enough time to really explore this one. Been something of an embarrassment of riches lately, and my harddrive is in danger of imploding.
Guess I`m going to need a TB or 2 soon.:applause:

Freaking awesome. Not much else I can say about the repaint then that. I sent a screencap to my mother and she was astounded. She really seemed to appreciate the B-26 coming to life again. When I think about it, it was something she never saw in person, much like me, but it was something she was close to as well. I'll be sure to take some screenshots to send to her asap.

Steve, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

BrittMac, I'm truly humbled and gratified that something I do for fun and relaxation could possibly bring the slightest bit of joy to you and your mom in such a personal way, and not just me but all the talented folks on the Milton Shupe team who played a roll in bringing this wonderful model to life as you've said. Thank you for sharing this bit of your grandfather with us.

Steve

Not sure if jankees has done it, I have it on a list of contenders but your welcome to do it. I am working on
Big Hairy Bird right now in between trying to finish up my revamp of the 391st AI birds.

Thanks Joe. It's hard to keep up anymore specially with folks who don't upload here, and I mean no disrespect. I'll have another look on Oz.
